ABOUT OUR CLUB
A WARM HELLO TO ALL!
Our Club is located in the beautiful city of Burlington, Ontario, in the region of Halton, and part of the Greater Toronto Area. We have players coming to play from Toronto to St. Catharine's and as far north as Georgetown.
The city is known for its diverse community, great restaurants, national events, a 4 mile long beach with an incredible waterfront trail extending all the way to Niagara and voted time and time again as the best place in Canada to live.
Established in February 2023, the West GTA Pickleball Club is a vibrant and inclusive community dedicated to the growing sport of pickleball. We offer a wide range of leagues and opportunities for pickleball enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Our club has something for everyone, offering dedicated leagues for youth & kids and coed play.
In September 2024 , the WGTA expanded our youth league programs to provide after-school options in partnership with the YMCA.
And in November 2024 we partnered with the Halton Regional Police Services Youth Engagement program providing instruction and a safe place to play.
For our 2026/2027 season, we are introducing a Road to Brisbane Olympic program for youth ages 10-14.
We play year round in an indoor facility and sometimes we may play outdoors, weather permitting.
In our first year, the West GTA Pickleball Club experienced tremendous growth, welcoming over 300 new members . We are now at over 1600+ members! This growth is a testament to the fantastic community we have built, where pickleball enthusiasts from across the West Greater Toronto Area & Hamilton can come together to enjoy this exhilarating sport.
We take pride in providing exceptional facilities and equipment, well-organized events, and a supportive network that makes every member feel valued and included. We host tournaments (with prizes!) and events throughout the year. Family, friends, and loved ones gather to watch and support a fun-filled day of Pickleball.
We offer recreational play and instruction clinics from NCCP Certified Instructors for all ages and skill levels.
Our Mission:
Our mission is to lead the growth of Pickleball in Halton Region, Hamilton and the West GTA by providing an all-inclusive club experience. We blend skill development with a fun, social atmosphere to ensure the sport is accessible and enjoyable for every member of our community.
The Club Goals are: Social interaction, skill development, fitness, inclusivity and fun.
Membership is open to everyone including kids, youth, women, men and LGBTQ+ ages 9-99+
AFFILIATIONS:
We are affiliated with both Pickleball Canada and Pickleball Ontario and many other businesses around the GTA and Southern Ontario.
